MILESTONE 1
Greyboxing – Introduce the main gameplay loop. Compelling run, hide, sneak mechanic for Prey and hunt, chase, kill mechanic for Hunters.
Introduce Orb gathering and vaulting.
MILESTONE 2
Add models for Hunters and Prey:
Hunters:
Bear, Boar, Goat, Wolf
Prey:
Annie, Melissa, Aaron, Wade
MILESTONE 3
Implement controls and animations.
Add online multiplayer.
MILESTONE 4
Add stylized environment
Implement interactions with bushes for Prey.
Implement breakable rocks for Hunters.
MILESTONE 5
Create game level/map.
Introduce hills, stylized fog, level balance design.
MILESTONE 6
- Create Ability system: Each character has 4 ability slots. All hunter abilities are interchangeable between all Hunters. All Prey abilities are interchangeable between all Prey.
- Add 2 Hunter abilities.
- Add 2 Prey abilities.
MILESTONE 7
Implement Final Stage/End Game mechanic:
After all orbs are gathered levers and hatches are spawned on the map. Each lever opens a hatch allowing Prey to escape.
MILESTONE 8
Create game/studio websites, social media, communities in Discord/Telegram.
MILESTONE 9
Add 8 more abilities for each role for a total of 10.
MILESTONE 10
Implement Main Ability system: Each character have their own unique ability, not shareable between others from the same role.
MILESTONE 12
Start private playtesting (Closed Beta).
MILESTONE 13
Start public public alpha / Early Access.
MILESTONE 14
Official release.
