The Joys of Creating My First Game
When I started out as an indie game developer, I had no idea what I was doing.
I just knew that I loved video games and wanted to create my own.
I had no idea how much work went into making a video game. But I was eager to learn and I loved every minute of it.
The first game I ever created was a simple puzzle game.
It was nothing fancy, but I was so proud of it. I remember staying up all night working on it, and then spending the next day playtesting it with my friends. We would all give each other feedback and suggestions on how to make the game better.
It was a lot of hard work, but it was also a lot of fun. I loved seeing my game come to life and I loved seeing people enjoy playing it. Creating my first game was an incredible experience, and I‘m so grateful that I was able to do it.
Of course, it‘s not all fun and games (pun intended).
Developing a game takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and sometimes, a lot of late nights.
But it‘s all worth it in the end when you see your game being played and enjoyed by others.
If you‘re thinking about becoming an indie game developer, I say go for it! It‘s an incredibly rewarding experience, and I guarantee you‘ll never look back.
