Multiplayer a.k.a. Multistruggle
Working on a multiplayer game can be a daunting task, especially when you’re a one-man team. But with the right tools and perseverance, it’s definitely possible to get your game up and running smoothly.
And still multiplayer in Unity is hard. I’ve been working on it for couple of months now, and I still haven’t been able to get multiplayer working properly. I’ve tried everything I can think of, but it just won’t work.
I’ve tried different networking plugins, different code libraries, different approaches, but nothing seems to work. It’s just too hard to get everything working together properly. I’m starting to think that maybe I’m just not cut out for multiplayer game development.
It’s not just the technical aspects that are difficult, but also the design aspects. Creating a multiplayer game that is fun and balanced is a huge challenge. I’ve spent countless hours trying to figure out how to make it work, but I’m just not sure if it’s possible.
I’m not giving up though. I’m going to keep working on it until I figure it out. I’m determined to make Huntscape a great multiplayer game. Even if it takes me years, I’m going to keep trying.
